This is a 3D laser scan of a wooden carved mexican Jaguar head. The surface is created by stiching fabric into a wax surface and is created on the fly by the artist. There is little pre planning when the artist creates the look and pattern. The mesh has been created from multiple passes with a 3d laser scanner by stiching together each and then fusing the group to create one solid mesh.
